Spanish language courses
Comfort Learning’s Spanish language courses are divided into the following six levels (according to the framework of European references):
Competent language usage C2
Competent language usage C1
Independent language usage B2
Independent language usage B1
Elementary language usage A2

Competent language usage C2
You can understand practically everything you read and hear without any effort.
You can summarize information from different written and oral sources give explanations and reasons in context.
You can spontaneously express yourself very fluently and exactly and also clearly indicate finer shades of meaning in more complex subject matters.
Competent language usage C1
You can understand a wide spectrum of challenging longer texts and grasp implicit meanings.
You can express yourself spontaneously and fluently without frequently looking for words in an obvious way.
You can use the language efficiently and flexibly in society and professional life or in training and studies.
You can express yourself clearly, extensively and in a structured way regarding complex subject matters and at the same time use different means to tie texts together appropriately.
Independent language usage B2
You can understand the main content of complex texts with concrete and abstract themes; you can also understand subject discussions in your special area of expertise.
You can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with mother tongue speakers is possible on both sides without any great effort.
You can express yourself clearly and in a detailed way in a wide spectrum of themes. You can express the viewpoint of an actual question and the advantages and disadvantages of different possibilities.
Independent language usage B1
You can understand the main points when a standard language is used clearly and when it deals with wellknown things from work, school, leisure time, etc.
You can manage most situations that you encounter when travelling and having to communicate.
You can express yourself simply in context dealing with wellknown themes and personal areas of interest.
You can report on experiences and events, describe dreams, hopes and goals and you can explain plans and viewpoints giving short explanations or reasons.
Elementary language usage A2
You can understand sentences and frequently used expressions that have to do with areas of direct meaning (e.g. information about yourself and your family, shopping, work, and your close environment).
You can make yourself understood in simple routine situations when dealing with a simple and direct exchange of information on wellknown and common things.
You can describe in a simple way your own background and education, your direct environment and things in the context of direct needs.
Elementary language usage A1
You can use and understand wellknown daily expressions and basic sentences that deal with meeting concrete needs.
You can introduce yourself and others and answer questions about yourself – e.g. where you live, whom you know or what things you have – you can answer questions of this kind.
You can communicate in a simple way when your conversation partners speak slowly and clearly and are ready when necessary to help you.
